Facebook:
Messenger Rooms: Facebook recently launched its own video-conferencing solution known as Messenger Rooms, which can support up to 50 participants on a call, with unlimited time period. If he/she does not have a Facebook account, even also can create or participate in a Messenger Rooms .
Information Centre and donations: A COVID-19-specific Information Centre has been developed on Facebook, for updates and latest news regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. A donation button has also added During Live stream session.
Whatsapp:
Increase number of participants allowed on video call: For a long time, Previously WhatsApp allowed 4 participants in a video call session, Now allowing up to 8 Participants at a time during video call.
Launched variety of new stickers to spread awareness of ‘Stay At Home’ message.
Instagram:
All sticker packs launched on Facebook are also available on Instagram app.
Bulk comment deletion: A New feature added on Instagram, now Instagram allows users to delete a large number of comments at a time.
